tbh i started supporting Hull FC in the last few years of moving to the new stadium and id love to go back to the boulevard although the KC stadium is brilliant.
and i dont think attendances will drop if the boulevard was refurbished with nice toilets like the KC

Trolling again I see!!!

| Not bothered where we play TBH. The sheer variety of stadia in RL is one (albeit small) part of its appeal - love the idiosyncrasies of the old grounds and the comfort of the new ones. Can't see how the Boulevard could be brought up to standard though, unless the whoever stipulated we get another 20 year lease compensates us big time for breaking that contract.
Does anyone know why the main stand has been take down at the Boulevard?

| Im hoping KC does get expanded as it will mean more cash for City and also the atmosphere against the likes of Man Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea etc would be awesome with a full 35k
But on the other hand at FC games the atmosphere would be like Huddersfield and watching the games and looking around and theres 20,000+ empty seats wont be good but still id rather watch the game in a 35,000 state of the art stadium than go back to a 12,000 dump
Radford must have took a bang to the head tho to come out and say he would like to go back to Boulevard

You see more conspiracies than Fox Mulder. Not related to Damo from the Leeds Board are you? Actually, you're probably not - his nonsense is far more entertaining.

| You lot are priceless, you've harped on for years about how your a superior team playing in a superior stadium and how far behind the red n whites are with no chance of us ever catching up, well we've caught up and overtaken on the playing front, now it looks like in the not too distant future we'll have the superior stadium too!!!
the best thing about your club is that we don't have to struggle to catch up with you cause your board are doing a great job of dragging you backwards whilst we continue to move forwards, and i agree that Radford would not have said this sort of thing without some sort of media screening by the club, it looks to me that this is one of the clubs famous 'surveys' that they carry out just to get the feel of what the fans think about it when they actually do it!
I say well done Tool and Hitlerington for doing such a great job of making HKR the best team in the city.

You cannot compare the atmosphere at the Galpharm to the KC.
As MMJ has pointed out, The Boulevard lost most of its atmosphere in 1985. The atmosphere at many games at the KC has been better than anything at The Boulevard in our last 15 years or so there.
The occasional poor atmosphere at the KC has been more to do with the rubbish we've been forced to watch rather than the design of the stadium.
I seriously doubt that a majority of long term fans would want to move back to a redeveloped Boulevard. As has been pointed out, the cost would be astronomical given the amount of housing around the old place. Can someone explain where this money would come from.
I have wonderful memories of The Boulevard but the KC is our home now, thank God.

if that comment is aimed at me why?, i have spoken via pm to PaulM, who i have to say is a nice guy and a good Moderator, as long as i abide by the rules i am fine,i am simply expressing my opinion regarding the remark Radders made about returning to the Bouevard, i havent done anything wrong or broken any A.U.P rule , i feel my post was very constructive, i am not doing it to upset anyone the Hull Daily Mail ran the story as did Radio Humberside last night, i am merely commenting on a club related issue that is in the media spotlight , how is that wrong ? , i know radders comments will ruffle feathers and there will be fans that do not want to return to the Boulevard , however there may be fans that would like to return there, why Radders made that comment who knows , i have expressed why i think he did , i for one think the board should comment on Radders remarks, he made them to the local newspaper which of course is going to get people speculating , so i feel it would be apt of the board to be straight with us .

Why should the board comment?
It's trolls like you that turn one off comments into stories.
I know the AUP doesn't legislate against stupidity, would that it did, blatant trolling would be a good offence to add too.
You are right about Paul though.
