| unfortunately, Fash will never be good enough and brings nothing to the table apart from enthusiasm which is not enough for this level

Cast your mind back to last season when Brown and Wynne came into the team, both played very very well considering, weve seen repeatedly with Fash and Matongo they dont quite do it, my question is why are they both picked above Jack Brown?
Id like to see Brown and Cator used instead of Matongo and Fash i think both are more assertive and busier'"
Me too. Fash will never be good enough and Masi seems to lack aggression, maybe he should have been sent to Leigh instead of Bienek.
It's really sad that it's been years since we developed a player that has cemented a place in the first team. Who was the last one, Shaul/Bowden?

| Sadly our backup is poor .
Masi and Fash nowhere near good enough.

| for me you can throw lane into that to, if brown was fit would have been nice to see him get a game, also am sure Bienik if not on loan could have added a bit more humph, over the next few weeks we will start to get players back, am still backing Radford BUT if we are still struggling when we do then his place becomes unsure,

| Fair enough if they have both been out injured, i think these can go down as further opportunitys to impress missed by Fash and Matongo.
Thing with Matongo for whatever reasons he just doesnt seem busy enough, is it lack of interchange time, assertivness or bad ball distribution.
What i liked about Brown was he wanted the ball all the time, always talking and looking for work, he just seems to want it that bit more.
Lets see what Satae and Kelly bring to the team, and we l hopefully have good news on other injurys

| Any updates in injurys. Bit top secret at the minute the lack of injury news, weve had no updates on Savelio or how Manu Maus doing
Wasnt Savelio only a niggle that turned into missing two games so far

| Ive seen the updates in the mail but find Radford very cryptic, like i said he said Savelio was just a niggle.
Hes abit vague with Ratu too.
Sounds like Carlos, Satae and Kelly and thats about it

| Quote: Dave K. "Not sure your point our weakened pack matched Wigan's weakened pack.
If we play teams with their full strength pack and we have 3 main players out it will be hard, but thats the same for any sides surely (look at Saints against Warrington).
Our pack is no where near our biggest problem.
I'm confident we can match most packs in the league, even with 3 players out, Saints maybe the exception, but it's more the way the team is coached than the players.'"
I never said the pack was our biggest problem but it is a problem. Our 1st choice pack includes ellis who won't play a chunk of games this year. We're then into playing our form centre in the 2nd row or playing youngsters who clearly aren't up to it.
Stats yesterday:
lane - 9 carries
masi - 3 carries
fash 4 carries
ellis - 4 carries
bowden - 4 carries
Simply not good enough.
Contrast it to wigan's youngsters/interchange
smithies - 12 carries
partington - 13 carries
bullock - 11 carries
byrne - 12 carries
clarke - 12 carries
The forwards clearly are a problem
As radford has said, a very average wigan side

never been sold on radfrods ability to handle the interchanges and the make up of his various benches. its ok when at full strength but we've seen some strange set ups over the years

That very average Wigan side will still finish above you. Again

Can I just say that, as a Wigan fan, I'm very happy for Radford to consider us "an average side". He has shown many times that he has poor judgement and is pretty clueless when recognising what makes a good side. I'd happily have him a substantial bet that this 'average' side will finish above his 'good' one.
