Agree about the props, but think there wasn't much between Whiting and Ellis, and they weren't that far ahead of Westerman, either. I though Tickle was poop aside from his kicking.
Like I said, none of our pack were really any more than decent, so Whiting being amongst the best of them still doesn't mean he played particularly well to me. We were outmuscled but our backs got us out of a hole IMO, as evidenced by the fact that all but one of our tries came from breakaways from distance in the 3/4s or kicks to the corner. |
