I guess I could use emoticaons and look really stupid, but I'll leave that to you.
The only work you do in China, I would guess, is wrapping it in paper at Houe of Fraser.

| Quote: JB Down Under "If hull is going to have a sustainable premiership team k&c needs to be at least 40-50k capacity. Council are to going to pay to do it so only option is for it to be bought b hull city and developed privately. Where that leaves fc is anyone's guess in the long term. I suspect you are safe as you pay enough rent to make it worthwhile keeping you there.
If the Allams buy Rovers and craven park could be interesting as they may see developing CP as the city's "RL stadium" will "encourage" you to move out of the KC.'"
Why? Only 9 of the top flight currently do. Swansea's is actually smaller than the KC and they just won the league cup and are comfortably midtable.

| I should imagine City will sell out most games or near enough next season, which I believe they did in 2008-09 before dropping by a few hundred in their relegation season. However, talk of a 40-50,000 capacity stadium is fanciful to say the least.

| “I would like to see European football here. That is my dream for the fans and it is achievable,” he said.
“Obviously, it will be difficult finishing in the top four of the Premier League without massive spending but there will be chances in the cups.”
similar squad investment to KR coming up?
good to see and Grudgell are in the same boat, "i want something I can't afford"

I guess it's a better use of a Sunday afternoon than worrying about playing Workginton away next season....

Was going to post exactly the same. 40-50k people is a ridiculous figure, City only ever sold out the KC 6 or 7 times when they were in the Prem last time. Think extending the East to get it to 30k is more than enough.

and who pays for it, the Council?
6/7K more for a few matches, is that a reasonable pucblic investment, or do they sell it to Allam, so he can asset strip it and stuff his mattress with the people of Hull's money?

Asset strip? He wants to own the KC so he can put it up as security to fund his 'sports/commercial village' just like most businessman would do. The problem is how he acquires the stadium. He can't be given it, and if he pays for it, that money has to be used for other similar projects which makes the money useless to the council.
I say, let him buy the KC for the amount it would take to build us a 'Langtree Park' at Costello.

I am certain they have heard of Sheffield united, Nottingham forest and Charlton athletic but I would bet they would be wearing either a Man it'd, Liverpool, nal or Chelsea shirt.
