Depends when his contract runs out, If it is end of this season, the creditors would be more inclined to go with the deal as at the end of the year he has no value whatsoever to them.

I doubt that Sam Obst would be the deal breaker for any potential buyer of Wakefield.

If they've got ambitions of staying in SL (and if not, why bother? use the money you'd use saving the current club from creditors as seed capital to start again in the championship), I'd want to keep the squad together and wouldn't want the administrators to start liquidising the assets I'm bidding for.
