What happened last night was one of those things that nobody can plan for.

I dont think the pre-match build up needs to change. Had the road been open normally those players would have been there by 6 at the latest, so I think about 2 hours is early enough for the players to get there.

I am a hull fan and was travelling down after work from Ripon. I was abit late setting off, which was bit of luck, other wise I would probably have been the wrong side of Junction 34. I saw the Bulls bus pass me on the Hard shoulder and like it, had to come off at J34.

The road we were on went very close to the scene of the accident. Although the tanker was clear of the road, the problem was it had spilt was it was carrying and that was causing the tarmac to break-up.

Did actually arrive at 7.35. But there was nothing the players could do. Even the Radio Leeds team got stuck, so it wasnt just Hull players.

What pub was it? I'll get PG to go along and benefit from the collective wisdom of a few blokes on the beer.

Strange that this game day prep situation has never been issue or even discussed on here before last night, considering how many believe ours is crap!!

i was in fact arguing the point that our prep was in capable hands, but it was leaved back at me that most prem league footy clubs have a team meal together and there for are all together long before kick off

Just for the record it maybe worth noting that although PG possibly has a damn sight more knowledge than the rest of us on how to prepare/coach/pick a team this will not stop fans voicing their opinions on things, nor should it irrelevant of how sensible or not those opinions are.
Maybe if he had listened to the fans on the beer he would not have wasted pre-friendlies playing a hooker as a h/back and given our 2 h/backs more time together

I seem to remember post match being discussed under Agar, some-thing about the players being seen in Big Mac not long after a game if my memory serves me right. Also a thread which discussed Wigan swimming at the Village hotel before a game and discussed then with questions about what we as a team did, again this was under Agar.

Nor should it stop me pointing that I don't agree with people's opinions that they believe they know more about RL coaching and match prep than the guys who's job it is

I hope it isnt cold sunday as i have a litte sniffle and it might get worse if i sit in a cold stadium for too long.
