What money? Leeds made £750,000 last year.
If we'd have appointed McDermott this board would have gone into melt down.

Stephen Kearnney
Brian Smith
Wayne Bennett
Gary Kemble
Daniel Anderson'"
We have no chance with Kearney , Bennett or Smith . Kemble is out the game now after his NZ players give him a vote of no confidence . Maybe a chance with Anderson but the fans will demand the same exploits as he did with Saints which would be ridiculous with the current Hull squad.
We have more chance of signing
Daryl Powell- Fev - Went away to get more experience and has done just that got Fev playing some good rugby.
Noble - Has improved every side he's been to , Been there seen it and all that.
Steve Price - St George assistant is not far off a first team appointment . Done well coaching through the age groups like Peter Sharp. Highly thought of in Aus.
Jason Taylor - Maybe a chance for him to get back into coaching first grade like Brown has and then move on to a post in the NRL at a later stage . Plus he wont be going to Huddersfield

| Dig Nobby's black and white jersey on the SL Show now, and the way he nods sagely when the word 'Hull' is mentioned.

| Your next coach will be McNamara nailed on.
What you need to remember is that good coaches demand that good money is spent on players.
So why would your board want to do that when their priority is making money out of the club? It's not as though you're going to stay away or anything.
But you'll stick with Agar for a good while yet. Then it'll be the great homecoming.
But Hull FC belongs to its owners they are entitled to do whatever they want. One day I am sure you will get people who care about the club back in charge but they will need to pay a premium to the current lot.

| Nailed on? Wouldn't that depend if he wanted to take his original job, before he got the England one?

| I would accept Webster in a caretaker role, if it meant waiting for the right coach

| Quote: old_faithful "By the end of his Doggies reign, things had become stale, but the guy took them on one hell of a run during his tenture there. He wasn't helped by the Doggies well documented off field troubles and their Salary cap breach in 02. To take them back from the bottom of the ladder, to a semi final in 03 and premiership winners in 04 speaks volumes about his integrity as a coach. His win record as Canterbury coach is also very good, considering he was there for a decade.
I'd hardly call him a dinasour, and he's got more coaching ability in his little finger than the likes of Agar and co. Name me anyone who has achieved what Steve Folkes has in his time as a head coach that we could realistically target...'"
Steve Folkes
1 NRL title
1 WCC Title
Brian Noble
3 Super League titles
3 WCC titles
1 Challenge Cup title
Go for Noble

I'd take either at this moment in time.

I would image Price is watching how things unfold with Bennett. I reckon he will definately throw his hat in the ring for the top job, should Bennett decide to leave the Dragons at the end of the year.
JT has just signed on to coach the Roosters U20's this year, and has a job with the SMH. Can't see as a realistic option.

For some reason people are under the illusion that the Hetherington's are the money men, when in reality they aren't even major shareholders. The other directors have far more, just what they chose to do with it!
