Which he has done in most games this season, pretty hard to do it from a position you're not accustomed to though.

Quote: east hull FC fan "Age has little to do with it.

Out of that 17 - 6 have less than 50 SL appearances and a total of 10 have less than a hundred. Behind that there's less than 30 between them.

Also, if we're signing a new half then Horne won't play, so that's one less experienced player.

There's also the question of leadership. Only 3 or 4 of those could you class as leaders - Lynch, Ellis and Westerman, and maybe Whiting.'"

By the end of the season you could be able to add 200 apps to that squad, would that be enough?

Look at the ooc players and then add the "Salford" factor.

200 apps doesn't go far across 10, we'd still have roughly the same in each segment.

I aren't to bothered about experience in all positions, I want a good spine then take it from there.

I'd be happy to agree if it wasn't for the forwards (props in particular) I'm a lot more confident in our young backs than I am our young forwards. Two props and a half and I'd be happy enough. Paea's OOC across the river.

So is Ryan Bailey.

I like the look of Green, would rather give him game time.

He's trying hard but he gives away a lot of penalties and makes a lot of errors. If he could cut those down he would be a much better player still.

Micky Paea would be a great signing, he seems to run out of steam after 20 mins but sure that could be remedied. He could be the replacement Moa for us.

OOC list on the virtual terrace

rlhttps://forums.rlfans.com/viewtopic.php?f

Catalan have a few good players coming out of contract, Bosc, Henderson & Fakir would all improve our squad IMO

didn't realise Rhys Hanbury was OOC as well, surely he's under consideration to resolve our half-back issues?

apart from those not much quality on offer as the high profile players like Burrow will be very likely to re-new at their existing clubs.

What would people on here do with our OOC players.

Briscoe I'd keep, but expect to go.
O Meley Retire
Tickle Personally I wouldn't keep him.
Galea Retire, but wouldn't keep
Nicklas release
J Briscoe Release
Shaul 2 year deal
Hadley 1 year deal
Starling 2 year deal
Heremia Release, decent player, but will be on top money and we have 2 very good hookers coming through.

There's nobody to sign in all honesty.

We've got a nearly full cap and the likes of Salford and Widnes have enough money to out bid us on Paea and Bosc.

I expect Galea and O'Meley to retire and I'd keep the rest.

We'll be nowhwere near full salary cap. We will be losing galea, o'meley, tickle, briscoe and probably seymour along with some fring players. Probably between £400k and £500k being freed up. If we follow your suggestion of only bringing in a scrum half we'll be even further from the likes of wire, wigan and leeds than we are now

Agree with Briscoe, O'Meley, Galea and Nicklas. With regards to the others I expect Tickle will leave regardless of whether we'd want to keep him or not and I'd like to see Jack Briscoe, Hadley and Starling in action before a deal is considered. Shaul had a great debut and for that alone probably deserves at least another year to see how he develops. I would keep Heremeia but release him if it was the difference between us signing someone or not signing someone.
