It costs us a lot to travel to a home game and I am not prepared to make that comittment, we can pick and choose matches next season like we have this (and we've not been to many), the move back to Friday night and the pi55 poor standard of officiating has almost killed my love of the game. FC had a chance to re-engage me, they didn't take it.'"

I understand what you are saying apart from the last sentence, I actually think we did well last season with the appalling injuries we suffered, plus we won a play-off game for the first time in 5 yrs and exited the comp in a respectable fashion imo, plenty of optimism for me

I don't disagree, last season we played some good football and did well, but we are still carrying players into next season that we shouldn't be.

I hope I am proven wrong, nothing would make me happier.

Nature of the beast with any signing I suppose and you can only offload so many in one season, I am excited with the youth we have coming through and very happy with Holdsworth and obviously Gareth Ellis, I agree the rest of the signing do not appear to be earth shattering so far however Gentle is proving to be a top drawer coach so I shall be expecting/hoping for a top 4 finish next season tbh, and that will be good progress for me, oh and a good Challenge Cup run.

I have been a supporter of Hull FC for over 30 years and can see your point on quite a few of the above but the wave of enthusiasm around the club by the way we have played despite the injuries we've had and the signings already made has convinced me to buy my first ever season pass and as I say I have supported Hull for over 30 years home and away. I think next year will be just like the late seventies when Hull invested in quality, momentum was created, and a great era of rugby was had by all Hull supporters.

I hope you're right, there is a chance you will be, a fairly big chance.

we have sold 3,237 now , the next draw is about to take place , people are getting behind the club don't really see what the problem is, Pearson is obviously trying to get Chase or a suitable replacement

Hi guys can anybody help me, I bought my pass last month and wondered how you get into the draw to win these prizes? Or are you automatically entered into the draw when you buy a season pass?

You're automatically entered. If you bought in the first 1000, you're in all the draws, but if you were 1001 onwards you go in draw 2 onwards, etc.

At least I think that's how it works

But is it? I've posted on another thread but £3,237 currently sold but only 28 days to go until the discount period ends and the DD option is already closed.

We need a 208.92% uplift on current sales if we are to achieve the 10k target, and although some will no doubt buy a pass at full whack, most who intend to get a pass will do so before the deadline expires.

I'm sure that this month will be a strong month for pass sales but struggling to see how we will reack 10k even if we were to announce Rangi Chase had signed.

Reality seems to be that people are skint. AP will no doubt be monitoring things closely but unless huge sales in next 2 weeks then I expect that by 27th October we will be hearing about an extension on discounted pass sales. If that does happen then I think prices should go up by say £10.00 a pass so that the fans who have shelled out early still see a benefit.

Club should have their marketing team contacting pass holders from last year and lapsed pass holders from previous seasons to try and encourage sales

A pal of mine works a 24/7 shift pattern and hasnt renewed because the discount period stops before the fixtures are announced and as a consequence he doesnt know how many games he will be unable to attend. I reckon there will be plenty of others in the same boat. When the discount period is extended, as we all know it will be, i reckon we will see your pass sales shoot up as and when the fixtures are announced.

If the discount period isn't extended I cannot afford a pass this year. It'll be a real shame as I've been a season pass holder since I started my first job at 18 (over 20 years). There's been plenty of seasons were I've missed anything upto 10 home games in one season but I've still bought a pass because I will always support Hull FC. It also saves me messing around buying tickets!

I've whinged and moaned plenty over the past 5 years about not renewing and being disheartened but eventually I splash the cash. Hopefully Adam will give us working poor a chance to enjoy the good times!

The discount period is too short. It should be extended until the fixtures are out.
