I think Cas are shot, Chase is a great player but he can't perform behind a beaten pack.

I think if he believes in the fundamentals behind the previous board's approach - their approach must be why Agar is still here - and is prepared to give Agar another year then with the reserves to bring in quality players not at the end of their careers he might have that success. The spin coming from the club seems to be pretty pro-Agar at least for the time being. If he does not want to continue the same approach of investing in Agar then he probably will pay him off (unless we have success this year against all odds) and bring in a replacement. But even then we're not going to be guaranteed better results. Also, let's not forget the new coach will be constrained by the squad that Agar built for a couple of seasons. If we replace Agar and don't win anything for another couple of years will that be better than we are now? Would we then cry out for another new coach and go round and round and round again?

If wigan lose they will be 3 points worse than last season
If saints lose they will be 5 points worse
If Leeds lose they will be 6 points worse

As ever Jake, our Agar discussion is going nowhere. You want him out (just a suspicion I have) as quickly as possible and I want to see if we make the GF before I decide. If they get rid I'll still support the club and if they don't I'll continue to hope that he develops into the world class coach that he clearly is not at the moment. That probably puts it all in a nutshell.

That sounds to me that agar is staying I bloody hope im wrong but the way Im reading it it seems that you know that Agar will be here next season
