| Just a quick question
Why has the junior shirt got its sponsors laser printer in to the fabric
But adult shirts have iron on transfers. Ruins the look and feel of the shirts
This has put me off both shirts this year so not buying any for myself or the other 5 for the rest of the family

| I have to say I quite like the look of the away shirt. Don't particularly like the home, but a win on twitter means I have one.
The transfers are the issue for me. Balls to the wash inside out, on 30 no conditioner etc etc. It gets washed the same as all the rest of the sports gear we have in the house. For this very reason I won't be investing this year. My kids like the polo shirst so I am more inclined to buy them. Most of the sponsors are ones we have had for over 12 months now so there should be absolutely no reason for the iron on transfers. More and more of us are complaining about these with every passing year. At the best part of £50 a shirt the club have to wake and make sure this issue is addressed. After many years with ISC its about time the two parties sorted this issue out.

I dont use twitter, but you do understand what a retweet is.
The club wouldnt retweet negative comments about the shirt would they.

No chance unless you move to a smaller manufacturer and the club takes a financial hit

Yes I understand what a retweet is, something the club didn't do on launch night, I never saw any retweet by the club, good or bad, regarding fans comments on the new away strip
But with you not using Twitter how could you tell?

| Its no wonder I rarely post on here now. The moaning pr*cks are starting to get on my nerves and it's always the same ones.
The message is clear, if you don't like what the club is doing, why the hell are you still here whining? Go follow a team who wins every single week, has a strip that everyone likes? You will not be missed.
For what it's worth, I like both kits this year but I'm also intelligent enough to work out hat if I don't like something, I won't invest in it. It seems others can't grasp this simple concept.

Given we have had limited edition shirts by ISC without transfers I fail to see what the issue is. For example the Magic shirt of 2013. That also had supporters names intergrated into the design. Its really not difficult.

Its a replica shirt and not genuine sports gear.
If you don't follow the advice, then thats more a reflection on you rather than the quality of the product.

| The no fabric conditioner thing is my advice for washing them. Mine use to be absolutely mutilated and then I happened to get talking to a bloke who works at an industrial laundry and he said no conditioner and shirt from last year is totally fine. Away one just has a tiny corner starting to peel on the kc logo on the back but that was after a full year and washed probably 25-30 times.

Not really. If you want to get into a technical discussion about this, I actually follow the label on the product. It does not say anything about no conditioner and only at 30 and only inside out. Neither have any of the staff told me the advice when I have purchased in the past. Its advice I have picked up from this forum. I am also fully aware that its a replica shirt. A replica shirt that costs the best part of £50. As such I expect a certain level of quality. I have no issue with the quality of the actual shirt. My issue is with the transfers that are put on which are of a very poor quality imho. I have had discussions with senior members of staff at the club about this. They acknowledge the issue but seem to be happy replacing fault products rather than addressing the issue.
I have 4 kids all taking part in various sports. All have shirts with sponsors logos. Not one logo is a transfer. They are all intergrated into the shirt. Thats grassroots sport.
I guess we will agree to disagree ideally without trying to belittle each other.

Can you imagine a company like Apple advertising that their iPhone batteries don't last longer than half an hour. Of course the positive comments are going to be used to advertise the shirt.
Overall, according to the survey I have carried out (4 people), 100% of fans like the shirt

Special edition shirts will cost more to produce and will be completely bespoke, rather than the templated Normal shirts. Just IMO. I agree with you by the way, just trying myself to understand why they are that way
