Silly post, without Pearson we would have likely gone down the route of Bradford and wakey, left with debts and the club ran in a terrible state, he has made so much progress especially off the pitch, new training facilities, better preparation for games, youth system, marketing and communication with the fans.

Unfortunately gentle and McRae restricted our progress on the pitch with poor recruitment, how can our salary cap be the same as Leeds, Wigan and warrington?

Gentles boring style of play has also costs us fans and the club money, he gad to go.

AP has made mistakes and I renaming to be convinced that Radford is the man to take us forward.

The amount of money he has spent I would doubt he will make any money if he sells hull, if he makes us successful in the next couple of years ans sells us for a profit then good luck to him, I will be happy.

We have to pay players a bit more to move here and a reduction in silverware and in especially Leeds and Wigan's case their youth structure.

It's hardly down to luck. It's business.

Anyway, he bought Derby with Peter Wilkinson.

Pearson has being great for Hull. While we've not enjoyed total success on the field, although getting to Wembley (despite the performance on the day) was merit to the efforts there. I personally think the club is being very well managed and I like the ethos of the club of staying sustainable including concentrating on development of players and staff is just what we need. I don't think it going to start paying off next year unfortunetly, but the mid and long term strategy seems to be good which is what the MD is responsible for:

Agree, but when holdsworth is in the top three earners someone is over paying players, cost of housing in hull must go in our favour also.

Gentles and mcraes poor recruitment is the main reason he was sacked.

I doubt Gentle had a lot to do with recruitment and negotiations, there does seem to be some long contracts given out for unproven players though.

Gentle signed Miller/Thompson & Biggs for 2014. He also wanted Mika till Radders took over and put a stop to the last 1.

I can see him wanting Miller but why would he want Thompson (identical to the Arundel signing) and when would he have heard of Biggs?

McRea, Gentle and Howes were given to much freedom by AP.

A remarkably bitter post, what has he done to upset you so much? I am not a blind worshipper of AP and I do suspect he may sell up some time in the future. However to achieve that aim for a profit he needs to build a successful and sustainable club and I certainly can't find anything wrong with that from a Hull fans point of view. I would much rather have an owner who isn't a fan making decisions because they are far less likely to make emotional ones that are foolish and cause embarrassment (look at a well known ambulance chaser for a striking example). As for Gentle, his story has some ups, downs and contradictions (contract extension followed by sacking) which by no means is all sweetness and light, but would you rather Agar stayed on? The club as a whole has improved under Pearson's ownership and though there's plenty more to do at least its going in the right direction.

He was told of Biggs when Briscoe wanted away. But then had a change of mind when a deal in your neck of the woods fell through. Then Bomber ferked that up! So Biggs was our option under PG. JT was defo a signing under him also agreed halfway through last season but was hush hush because of the tampering rules/dates.

At times I wish AP would keep his mouth shut but at least we have someone who talks to the fans.Yes he is a know wot where league is concerned but he is learning fast and knows the future is our youth set-up and the outsa
Tanning crop at u-16 level.....these wouldn't have got a look in under the old mob nor would haves shaul, lineham,Bowden,Kent,Hadley.the only thing he got wrong was appointing McRae,who has boll oxen up the recruitment and cap space as well as Gentle
