As soon as he gets a good run as a ball-handling loose-forward, Westerman will come good. He is very much a leader and could be our captain for years.

i know its a tad off topic on this thread but just watched the match back for about the 10th time on sky plus LOL and have to say that the work rate from Westerman and Aspinwall was terrific , well done to both

Certainly agreed regarding Aspinwall. I wasn't overjoyed when we signed him, but barring Sam Moa, nobody has taken the ball up with more aggression or enthusiasm for us this season.

Agreed , he must be the smallest forward in SL but he deffo makes his prescence known and bangs way way way above his weight

didnt realise he started as a winger , fek me he was one hard MF of a winger , even wendel would have shiit it

it will come the kid has class written all over him , injury and coach change hanst helped but a run injury free he will get better and better

dont get me wrong he is no norton but he is a talented player, also very aggressive too which helps
when PG gets his complete lighter more mobile pack assembled , the lighter lads like westy who can hit hard will be worth their weight in gold
