If winning this tournament helps England RL in the long term then yes. We're e because our game isn't taken seriously outside of the M62 corridor, the best way to address that is to have a strong England team. It's clear what England RU does for RU.


6 and 7 are quite interchangable positions for me in the modern game. The main reason he is not perceived a 6, IMO, is that he isn't much of an organiser, Sinfield will most likely play that role.

Would be my guess, don't knowabout the last bench spot.

I would play Chase instead of Lomax. I would play Sinfield at 13 for his kicking game - get him in at 1st man and distributing the ball to Chase and Widdop to do their damage on the edges.

Stick Heighinton on the bench and Lomax to cover for utility reasons, as Roby can do the 80. Or if he tires, stick Sinfield to 9 and play Lomax at 13

Sinfield can't play 13 in the international game, the rest of the pack can't cover him.

Imo if he starts it's at 6.
