If Turners 'effort' against Wigan is anything to go on, I'd sooner it be Jack Briscoe.

There's no way Jack Briscoe will start at full back, nor should he for my money. It would be out of character for our coach to pitch an untried youngster in, and against this company could set him back. possibly put him on the wing and move his brother to fullback, or move Tom Briscoe to fullback and put Hall on the wing.

Would be mad to go with Hall, as he is already on his way out and has never done well at FB. With Horne & Whiting out it makes the most sense to bring in the U20's FB. As for Wire not being an ideal place to blood a youngster, maybe not but when is the time?
Saints have no problem bringing in their youngsters to cover positions and it hasn't done them any harm. If he has a mare, he will pick himself up and carry on if he is anything like his brother.
