To be fair they seem to have far better attitudes than some previous signings anyway.

| With Fitz and Long both fit and playing,is it fair to dream of great things to come?

| Chuck Norris doesn't need help but the only number he has in his mobile is Fitz's.
On a serious note, this has set the bar very high for Hull's future signings. I know its early days but we need to be acting now for future recruitment, because finding players of similar stature in the game is going to be hard when it comes to replacing Long, Fitz and Berro.
We cant have another episode like a few years ago when we got poor replacemnets (or none in some cases) for our very influential players that had left. Kearney, Brough, Cooke etc..

| SIR FITZ
When they scored their first try, we could see him really getting the message across to the team, not just shouting and swearing at the top of his voice, and literally all of the players were transfixed on what he was saying.
A true role model and a living legend.

I disagree, Kearney produced in 2 of the biggest games of the last 2 decades (the CC semi and final) and is one of the best players to pull on the black and white IMO
Fitzgibbon has been fantastic, but we haven't yet seen him in a tense game (I have no doubt he would produce a great performance though!) so I'd say their both on a par for the moment.

I think this is a very good point, replacing Long is the biggest decision the club will make in the next few years. It can make or break a club, Bradford for example spent big on Harris and messed it up, and have now had to miss the playoffs and spend big again (on Orford) to rescue the situation.

| Watching him last night reminded me of the Terminator - the nice one in the second film who's on your side.
He just doesn't stop.

He comes across well in interviews and doesn't appear in the slightest bit conceited - seems an all round good guy as well as a superb rugby league player.

he really reminds me of the terminator as well! it's a joy to watch him playing for our team and IMO he's the most entertaining in defense because he is an absolute monster in the tackle

| There's nothing else more to say about Fitzy because everyone else has already said it on this thread.
I was well and truly gutted when we lost out on arguably the best back rower in the game, Crocker! For Hull to pull off a signing such as MC was awesome but then to back up the loss with a legend of the game was outstanding. I am actually more happier with the signing of CF as MC imo wouldn't of had as big of an influence off the field but would of done the bizz on the pitch.
More signings like these in the future please Hull FC.

| [totally agree ,hes a complete player the way he ran for that kick at the end ,i just couldnt believe after all the graft he had done during the match he was still the one full of running and the energy to look for that chance {i bet he made the call for the kick as well }like you see all of the above and hes shaping up to be up there with them even as early as this ,one word Outstanding] wrote fc-eaststander
He asked Horney to lay it on just before the scrum down.
And am i the only one who thinks he's a machine gets cut but does not bleed
