Interesting. I have sent him the "facts" as I see them as well. I can not access my personal email account at work so I look forward to seeing his reply to my message to him.

I will have to think up a reply if he calls me a Rovers fan.

Europa did make replicas back then (I had one) - they were sold through Clothing House on Hessle Road - my auntie worked there, so I got one for a christmas present one year. Hull's first sponsor was Shopacheck, then in 2003-04 we had ABI on the real shirts in a similar yellow flock print. I have an original away playing shirt from that year and that is made by Umbro. If a replica is worth 500, I should maybe sell it for at least twice that!!!

i have aa original genuine replica shirt either 83/84 made by umbro size a lot smaller than i am now no sponsor on it either but i seem to remember the yorkshire cup s/ final had a sponsor on it as previously stated memories not so good it's old anyway

One thing that certainly gives it away is the club badge. We had the three crowns in 1980. That is easily verified by looking at any footage from the 1980 cup final.

Listing does say from 1980's, but it is no way worth what the seller is asking for it. £10er tops !

I sent him a question with a couple of links in it saying the discription was wrong and hear is the proof and also the shirt wasnt even worth £100 let alone £500. I got a snotty reply telling me to go back to school!! oh well he wont like my reply going on about traid discriptions and reporting him to ebay.

Thought it was just me who had asked why they were selling a 1980 shirt with sponsor when it is cleary false. I got a reply back stating that if you read the description it says 1980's and not 1980.
My reply that they had editted the listing after reading my message was not answered.

I only paid £100 for my match worn, dare i say it, Paul C**ke shirt. Which is signed by the full squad of 2006 (With the 'Challenge Cup Winners 2005' Embroidery). So £500 for a potential fake is a litlle OTT, if you ask me!!

No bids yet,i wonder what his reserve price is? £750 perhaps?

I have got an original abi shirt (pinched out the changing rooms ) with no.2 on the back think was probs shared with eastwood n kevin james at the time & it has an umbro sign (well i am 99% sure it has) on the left...this is deffo a fake!!!!

Umbro sign would hve been on right but any replicas in the "sponsors era" of the 80s would have had umbro sign. Most replica shirts from about 82 would have been made by Umbro.

Maybe I only started watching after the Boulevard era so I don't know either. Suprising how he hasn't had any bids yet
