Wouldn't surprise me. It never fails to amaze me how many people actually part with their money in exchange for the stuff.

Especially as it's gone up...AGAIN!

Take a plastic bottle with your favourite spirit and mixer. It won't taste like wee wee and you can drink it in your seat.

That's what I plan to start doing, especially if we repeat Friday's performance!!!

Hipflasks with a usual ghastly spiritual concoction are our Friday night delights!

Can I take my 14 year old son into any of these pubs? I always assume I can't which is why I drink the swill on the concourse.

Great pub IMO, awesome night in there for live games, and their 'radio' coverage for Cats v Rovers/Hull games is outstanding.





Mill down Holderness Road is meant to be decent (only been in once or twice though), + Crooked Billet is spot-on.

However, if you fancy a change I recommend Haworth down Cott Rd. Plenty of TV's, cheap beer + good/friendly atmosphere - be hard to beat.

£2.95 for a pint of smooth i think thats what they r calling it and it wasnt very nice .............used to enjoy leaving 7mins before halftime to join the queue !! not any more sit n read me programme
