| A decent win and a few on here are getting a bit giddy
We all want fc to win but put this into context
We beat a weakened Cas team missing their spine just days after they’d won their semi final.
Yes , Connor on his day is a good player but ..
Until he matures , his rugby he is a long way off being
England’s best full back.

Bowden has an ankle injury according to BH post match.

I noticed he did go down after colliding with Watts later in the 2nd half.

| Fair to say Mahe was back tonight.
Played his best rugby at centre in 2016. Looks like he’ll be there for the foreseeable.

He was a real handful tonight. Wouldn't say back to his best but he's definitely going in the right direction.
It was an OK performance tonight, but nothing to get too excited about. Cas were missing a lot of important players and they were pretty poor. Our pack was dominant but you would expect that. I also thought we were pretty slick in attack, a lot of which was down to Reynolds being much more involved. We started slowly though and there's still too much indiscipline imo. It was a step in the right direction.

He can't catch a break.
We could do with another warm body to play prop. Brown can do a job but isn't quite there yet. I wonder if we might bring someon in just to fill out the squad.

He's looked short of confidence since coming back
But he's a far better centre gets caught out in defence on the wing
Hopefully he'll start to hit a run at centre

| Quote: Hasbag "Would imagine if we want to make minimal changes we just go with Savelio in the centres. Another option is Connor to centre and Wynne to full back. Or Swift to full back and Mitch to get a run out.
Few options available, none ideal however I'd defo want to keep Connor at full back even if it means a make shift centre in Savelio.
Having said all that hopefully Carlos or Scott aren't all that serious and can get fit for Leigh.'"
Cam Scott and Carlos will be out for several weeks
Little point in moving Savelio into the centre as we are short of forwards in any case.
I can see Mitch coming in for this game however i know people dont want to move Connor but that would be the simple solution and bring Connor Wynne in at full back

| few things for me
1. Jake isn't a FB - no amount of BH coaching can give him pace! The 17-year-old debutant waltzed around him and Jake had all the time to set him up on a tight pitch.
2. Mahe is a Centre 7 days a week. He's carrying a belly on him that needs to go, but he is a Centre 100%
3. Jake is a future Hall of Fame player for FC

1. He was a rabbit in the headlights, there was support on the inside and Connor made his decision late. That kid was lightening quick and would have waltzed around most. I really dont know what Connor has to do to convince people we and him play better as him as a FB.
2.Mahe best game since he came back, should be his spot for rest of the season now.
3. If he improves his consistency then im sure you are right.
