yes it appears to be the journey by rail from watford junction that is affected. the other option i have used before and will be using again is to park and get the tube from rickmansworth - easy access from the m25 assuming the motorway is free from hold ups

I was thinking the same and had a quick look at tickets left for sale and we have nearly sold out of the west side of the stadium, when I look only 1 block left at Fc for sale and 1 block on the RL website. On the other side you can still take your pick on the RL website loads of blocks left with tickets in.

Has anyone got any feedback about the Green Man pub near the stadium for drinks/food before the game please? I'm travelling with family including 2 kids.

We went last year and it was really good, weather needs to me good as the best bit is the beer garden, never ate there and not sure what the food is like, but great for drinks and was an excellent atmosphere, busy last year, but had loads of outdoor bars so easy to get served.

Weather permitting I'll be going again this year.

Bear in mind its less than 10 mins from the stadium and will get rammed, so if your after a sit down meal you either need to get there very early or be prepared for a long wait.

For drinks and a general meet up place, its great.

Done both "Green Man" and "The Torch" both excellent for the pre game meet up.

Torch for us this year , a cracking atmosphere in the beer garden , always rammed with FC ..

Watkins Folly was lucky for us last year so will be heading there to get smashed before the game after a few early ones in Kingsbury.

if its dry the greenman does a bbq doing burgers and hotdogs in the beer garden

Unfortunately, the long term weather forecast for the game is sunny intervals, 20°C, much like here, today.

Probably obvious but Metropolitan line is much quicker than Jubilee line for doing the Baker Street to Wembley stretch.

We park up at Stanmore, get the Jubilee to Wembley then change to Metropolitan line to get in to town, coming back to Wembley we get back to Baker Street and change to Metropolitan.

Get on the overground from Marylebone (near baker St) - its 9 mins to Wembley station ( back of the stadium)

Into Kings Cross early Saturday.. few quick ones in Oneils across the road ..
