Can't believe how poor houghton was. Simply to slow from the PTB. The amount of times pressure was getting applied on the halves. Surprised because his passing isn't too bad from dummy half. Hope it's just a bit of a blip and rustiness. Azza was one of the positives and when he was on we looked a lot better. For me he needs to start with Danny coming off the bench. Crookes went well, McDonnell and Yeamo was alright too. The rest were shocking.

Saying that, I'm not too down hearted and I'm not gonna slit my wrists like the majority of Hull fans that don't know much about rugby. I know the sport is based on results but we played with 6 new signings against the champions away who have always had a similar team with not too many changes! Some people expected us to win and on paper we are not too far off. We need time to gel. Only gonna get tougher with the games coming up. Must win next week!

Crookes was hulls best player probably. Why would you drop him? Lineham is good and gonna be a star, especially going forward but based on what I've seen of him over 2seasons of 20s I watched before he made 1st I'm not sure he could of handled everything that got thrown down our right. Crookes one of the only bright points for me last night

This attitude always makes me chuckle.

Why? Plenty of people post on here claiming their opinion of a player is more valid than others, it then makes me chuckle when a SL coach then basically dismisses their theory.
How many of us have been coaches? Done any kind of coaching qualification? Not many I'd bet, and watching the game for 20, 30 or 40 years does not count either.
