Galea, Ogre, and Tickle are out of contract at the end of the year. Heremaia has an option for one more.

Lynch has been pedestrian in all games and has had no go forward in him at all. He seems happy to stop before the tackle and turn as if to offload without actually offloading - needs an imposed rest for me, we have several young forwards who will imo offer more.

Galea is a worry for me for Friday, he is either going to have the game of the season and rip it up or go missing and cost us dearly due to his association with the scum.

Whilst I don't think Andy Lynch has reached his form of last year he is our second top metre maker behind Tom Briscoe and third top tackler. His work rate is very high and he carries the ball more than any other player except Houghton. He's a grafter who is always there to take the ball up and not an impact player who goes off after 4 carries. IMO we miss Sam Moa to balance Lynch - both types of player are needed. I also think he should have remained as skipper as he was always willing to fight our corner with the referee which is something missing this year. I don't think he's bothered about losing the captaincy as his stats show clearly - I just think he was good at it and should have been allowed to continue.

Lynch is doing the exact same job as last year and the stats back this up, just because we have had a bad start, people are seeing things different.

I don't agree, he has been nowhere near as effective going forward and has certainly not ran with the same level of aggression.

I think Lynch will come good, he's a workhorse and even if he hasn't been firing on all cylinders he hasn't really let us down so far.

As for a new halfback, I'd give my left nut for Danny Brough!

I'm not convinced Lynch has been as effective, personally. At least not in attack. He doesn't seem to be offloading as much, nor passing near the line as often as last year. It's a great weapon when he does, wasn't it him to Bowden against Cas? His PTB also seems a lot more laboured this year. Last year he was one of the few who regularly found his knees & got up reasonably quickly, this year he's as bad as the rest of our pack in this area if not worse than a few.

Still tackles himself to a standstill, although a couple of times we have seen that standstill, unfortunately. For that I blame the amount of minutes he's playing, not him.

Judging by gentles comments on humberside were looking everywhere for a scrum half and have 1 target in mind thats maybe happening . The way he was talking id have thought its for now and not next season . Maybe just a loan but didn't say .

Last throw of the dice, he wont be at the club in 2014 if the garbage continues, Gaskell (Saints) unless a transfer fee is to be paid then it could be anyone (within reason)
