sorry, you're bleating, the game was there for FC to win, we didn't. Ganson was bad, Horne was worse!

| The pass was forward, whether accidental or deliberate and had the game been the other way around, I would feel exactly as you do.
The decision to carry on when Martin went down injured or the stupid drop out that we had to give are even more odd decisions.
However, we will of course take this result. Gonna be a very interesting third derby.

No, although I do realise you mean forward pass, which it was. Marginally.
We won by 2. 14 if we discount the tries resulting from Ganson's ridiculously harsh decision to sin bin Dobson and the VR choosing to ignore Briscoe's shoving McDonnell in the back. And the bounce for Turner's try was proper spawny. Or maybe witchcraft. Either way, setting aside all bias, without the malign influence of the Illuminati, we'd have won 78-0.

You seriously think Dobson was hard done by? I understand blinkered support of your own club, but the guy is a moron.

You're quite correct Tommy. We shouldn't have let the last try in regardless but the other two tries came from poor refereeing decisions. Martin was down and played should have been stopped and the Dobson try was a mile forward. We were not totally to blame but as I said we should have defended that last set better.

| Play would have been stopped if they were anywhere near martin, but seeing as play was at the other end of the pitch, why stop it.? The relevant people came on the pitch to assist martin anyway and if rovers didnt score nothing would be said.!

Were the ball was in relation to Martin isn't an issue once a Doctor goes onto the pitch the game should automatically be stopped and Ganson and his linesmen knew Hull Fc's medical team were on the pitch long before the try was scored.
As for the forward pass, if it had been marginal fair enough but the distance that was forward is a joke.
And for the rovers supporters saying that Dobson shouldn't have been sin binned he commited two fouls firstly a late flop and then holding the player down to enable rovers players to get back so basically a professional foul which is an automatic sin binning

| Quote: tommyfromhull "The severity of the injury was very clear as soon as he went down, the physio came on straight away and signalled that he could not continue. More doctors and physios came on, then finally a spinal board, with play going on for t least another 2-3 tackles. Ample time to stop the game.
As I say, ridiculous. This allowed Wovers to be within 8 points with the kick. Then the forward pass try and kick made it a 2 point game. Cheers, Ganson.'"
No it wasn't. He went down untouched, I can't say even noticed it whilst at the game, but from watching the tv replay, it could have been a turned ankle, which is absolutely no reason to stop the game. By the time they called for a stretcher Latus was going over in the corner. Ganson got this spot on.
The forward pass I will give you, but the TJ (who was it by the way? you could make a massive banner for him next time you get him) is more to blame. You need to find closure on this one and move on sunshine.

I'm really looking forward to Ganson doing it to rovers.
Firstly for the reaction from there fans but secondly and more importantly the way in which sandy will whing about it.
To say they deserved the win is a joke a bit like him..

Last time he reffed us (Hudds at home) we lost the penalty count 10-2 but still won the game. Go figure that one out.

Yes, it was. The physio came on immediately and waved under his neck signalling Martin wasn't good to proceed. The game should have then stopped. The ball was played for a good few tackles then Latus went over.
I don't care who is to blame, Ganson or a TJ, it wasn't Hull. There is no closure, we were robbed. I will continue to discuss the thread topic as I so wish, thanks petal.

Once the clubs doctor went onto the pitch the game should have been stopped and Ganson knew the club doctor was on the pitch before the try was scored.

How do you know that Ganson knew the doc was on the pitch? He had other things to keep an eye on at the time.
