Its these stupid acts by the allens which cause this type of reaction poor though it is this family seem to want to spread bad feeling and drive sporting wedges between the citys sports clubs we have just gone through this with rovers and the hetheringtons now this the council need to step in maybe we should all email our own coucilor and complain

probably the same sad acts who had a petition going in silver cod when the kc was been built to stop us playing there as not to ruin the pitch! the next time a city fan gets clever just ask them apart from promotion what have you won? never fails to shut them up.....

My take on all this is that the SMC/Allam's have shot themselves in both feet and their ankles.

I agree with a lot of the points already made, but especially the one about why we are suddenly having to pay to have pictures up that were [ualready there[/u. I can see why there might be a cost to putting new pics up, but the ones that were there had no cost to them at all. For me its about the SMC/Allam grabbing as much as they can from wherever they can. Was told today that the sum in question was in the region of £20K, which is not necessarily a huge amount, but presumably City are now paying double for using all the spaces, which is costing Allam's club itself more money. Madness.

The Johnny Whiteley issue is, for me, the most important though, as it is a huge insult to someone known and loved throughout the city.

As others have said, the stadium is a community asset, owned by the council for the people of Hull, and is only managed by the SMC (the clue is in the name

). It should be managed without favouring one tenant over another, or disadvantaging one over another and if Allam is using it to get one over on AP then he really needs to get over himself and move on.

If there had always been a charge for displaying things with club colour etc then there would not be an issue. It becomes an implied term of a contract and can only be changed with a formal agreement.

That Hull City now pay for this is no more than a smokescreen. But I suspect you are aware of that.

This is an important point. We are in the right here. Let's not give up the moral high ground by making irrelevant comments about the race, nationality or religion of the perpetrators of this despicable act. Let's concentrate on attacking the deed, rather than the doers.
