I reckon they'll be looking at 300/350 k for chase . We should offer something like 250k plus Ellis and I reckon Cas would accept . Wigan may offer a couple of there younger players plus cash also so then it would be chases choice .

Gotta be honest i think it will be more than one IMO, these guys dont give anything away till its done as far as i can see so far but just see a real air of confidence in almost everything they say or do on the subject of signings etc,

I'm not sure £100k is that much more likely than £500k, TBH, think they'll get better offers than that. A 26-year-old international halfback on the current market for less than we paid for Westerman, and around what we paid (depending on where you read) for 32-year-old prop Lynch? Don't see it. Brough cost £30k plus Kirmond mid-season in the last year of his contract didn't he?

£100k plus Ellis, maybe, but £100k on it's own and I think Cas would be stupid to go for it.

Ellis has already signed for Cas so he wont be able to be used as a bargaining chip.

Like anything, he's arguably 'worth' whatever somebody is willing to pay for him. That will almost certainly be more than £100k. If Bateman has generated a 6-figure offer, Chase will easily.

I know, I was attempting to use easily to imply that Chase would attract offers significantly larger than that, i.e. even more than Bateman. I will strive to be even more anal about the wordings of my posts in future.
