Depression is one illness I would not wish on my worst enemy
People who suffer this illness just want to sit they don't want to get dressed or wash themselves they lose all interest in life
It's an illness that can happen to any of us any numbers of thing could trigger it off work/stress worry
Even if you get over it the is a chance it could return The best way to describe it is an balance in the chemical
to the brain They need people around them who are strong and understanding and help them through it it take time
the person would probably stay on medication for the rest of they life.. I am not a doctor but I have had first hand
experience ..And I don't want to go through with it again

I can relate to that tbh....Because the illness is not visual some people do not understand or believe their is a problem, most become more educated once they have experienced mental illness via a loved one or themselves. Our culture has more work to do than other cultures because of the stiff upper lip attitude we have always adopted in the past, but gradually barriers are being broken down, and education is helping, however we still have a long way to go.
