We await his second coming, Chuck Hardisty Mk.2

| As a Cas fan I was dreading this game one the basis that Childs was the referee.
Having watched TGG for 50 years and seeing some 'giants' of the game including some very strong refs. Eric Clay, etc etc, this guy is the pits.
How can it be when you go to a game wondering how the match will pan out,ie will Cas revert back to 'BRADFORD' form, will Hull's recent form continue, yet the focal point ends up as James Childs.
This guy has been fast tracked to Super league by 'the powers that be' S. Cummings.
My son played for the U18's and U21's and had the pleasure (sic) of Mr. Childs abilities(???) and it was obvious then that he had no respect for the players at this level.
This person (I hate to use the term referee) is the Frankenstein monster created by the RL Hieracy BUT we the RL loving public are the one's who are suffering due this guy's total ineptitude.
He sent off Scott Moore at Headingley for an inoccuous challenge which left Matterson seathing ang changed the outcome of the match
He was in charge of whistle feast of a match last year at WR in which he infuriated the fans in the first half, was injured, falled to trap for the second half, substituted by a linesman, and the second half was an absolute pleayre to watch.
If any one has a DVD of the world cup finals notice who was on the touch line, yes you've guessed it.
Guess who came on waving his little flag, you've got it in one
When there are major matches in RL that require a neutral ref gues who can be found on the touch line, JC, (not him)
I'm glad that BOTH coaches are unhappy with this guy and the sooner he is relegated to the championship (or Oz) the better.
A complete and utter to$$ pot

Fair pint Staffs..maybe he did, but then he stops doing what we all want ref's to do - be consistent.

I should not rise to pispotical comments like this but come on?
Castlefords strength this year is their speed when the game is flowing,do you think Childs helped us with blowing up all the time?
Tell you what ,if a decent ref was present to enable a free flowing game i would also predict a comfortable win for cas...........see i can do it as well!
Ifs and buts ,dont you love em...

You said Rovers are light years ahead of FC on the pitch and that Mills is better than O'Meley. You've not got great form, Phillip.
I am still struggling to comprehend how bad he was. As said, I'd like to watch the game back and look at all forced stoppages in play to check I'm not insane.

10603.jpg Is it true that Richard Agar's favorite movie of all time is Groundhog Day or does he just generally like the same boring s**t day after day, season after season?:10603.jpg |

| I can't be bothered to read through the full thread, but I suspect that nobody is congratulating Childs on a suberb performance.
There is a couple of ways of looking at this, the first being that it was a incompetent and totally unacceptable performances, the second being that it was an example of blatant cheating????
Either way, the guy should be brought to task. If it had been an ametur game, I am pretty sure that the coach would have marched his players off the pitch in protest.
We were robbed to such an extent that I even double checked that my wallet was still in my pocket before I left the stadium as I suspected that Child could have robbed that off me like he robbed us of the 2pts.

| At least Agar has had the balls to come out and say what he thinks, he is 100% correct and like he says Childs will be about there next week whistling another 45 penalties.

Why?
Corruption goes on in all walks of life, so why is it ludicrous to suggest it MAY go on in rugby league?
Assuming you are a Cas fan, I am pretty sure that you or some of your fellow supporters may have felt the RL were bent when they didn't punish Wigan harshly enough for breaking the salary cap, which lead to them avoiding relegation and Cas dropping out of super league.

He certainly did, just after they had played Salford pre season if my memory is correct, hats of to him though he comes out with a gem every year now

I said it two years ago you fool and it still true now, with both sides having a first choice 17 Rovers would run Hull ragged
