Looks like Holmes is back in training too although I guess Saturday might be too soon for a return to the first team.
Is he in any of the training stuff?

Is he in any of the training stuff? He posted a photo saying "9 month hiatus over, good to be back!"

| If Pryce is to start on bench, I’d be looking to put Chamberlain at 6 I think, obviously not going to get any attacking output from him but hopefully he can help shore that right hand side up until Pryce can come on.
Rapana Briscoe Hardaker Litten Martin Chamberlain Sezer
Ese’ese Bourouh Aydin Fash Lane Asiata
Pryce Ashworth Knight Eseh

| Pryce plays for me with instructions of 'do whatever the you want' to a degree, without necessarily overplaying with his passing game. He's obviously not going to be familiar with all our plays so I'd just say to him go out there and just play eyes up rugby the full game. Run the ball as much as possible at Lewis and get him moving in defence, he's quite flat footed in defence and very susceptible to been beaten by a good step. Make him move and send a lot of traffic his way. We're already mightily up against it, Rovers look red hot at the moment and we're missing a lot of bodies. Give them something extra to think out. As long as Pryce physically and mentally feels good enough to get on the pitch then we have to take the chance. Even if it means dropping him next week against Warrington and giving him a couple more weeks to get to grips with things, because at least Cust will be back for that one.

| I don't think you can put Charles or Kemp straight into this game, so we either go with Rapana at 6 and Moy at 1 or bring Pryce straight in.
Think if fit Aydin has to be in.
I'd start Pryce personally, think our chances of winning increase hugely if he plays, gives Rovers something to think about.
Rapana Martin Chamberlain Hardraker/Litten Briscoe Pryce Sezer Ese Ese Bourouh Aydin Fash Lane Asiata
Ashworth Knight Balmforth/Moy Eseh

| Pryce has played with Sezer before, he will be fine to start this game, and play with his eyes up. He doesn't need to to be bogged down by calls and structure

| In regards to Pryce, had Cust been available for this game then I'd have no doubt he'd likely have been sat in the stands on Saturday, but that isn't the case and we have to put the best 17 out there.
As long as Pryce is physically and mentally ready to play on Saturday then he has to come straight in. He isn't an inexperienced academy prospect and has gone through pre seasons in the NRL and been playing in the NSW Cup so should certainly be fit. Yes he won't know the calls or plays but he can play what he sees and take direction from Sezer & Asiata. His addition still improves our 17 if included on Saturday with us having Cust unavailable and Charles and Kemp only just coming back.
Hopefully Hardaker and Aydin are both fit then I'd go
Rapana Briscoe Litten Hardaker Martin Pryce Sezer Ese'ese Bourouh Knight Lane Chamberlain Asiata
Ashworth Aydin Eseh/Fash Moy/Hutchison
If no Hardaker then Chamberlain to centre and Fash in the back row

| I just really hope that Hardaker is playing, brings a lot to the side in terms of hard work and grit.
Pryce goes straight in for me too. Had it been a league game probably not but in a one off game it's a risk worth taking. I'm sure he'll be fine. Hopefully Uncle Thirks has paid for a business class flight so plenty of rest coming over here.

Whoever plays right side has got to be bob on in defence , Rovers had a field day against Hudds right side on Sunday . Jed is such a loss on that right edge both in defence and attack. For all his critics, Fash's defence is very good so if anything, he'll tighten that side up defensively alongside Hardaker (if he's fit)
