Remember v Wigan away we were 75/1 to win at half time and in the 2nd half we were down to 12 men for a while
We’re at home - were a better side even now Rovers are beautifully over confident Wigan were as well
The thing with over confidence is that Once you go behind you start to get Flustered !
Hull FC Wembley 1983 for one
We can have these smelly bin dippers Just talk about being under dogs all week
Let them do what Carolina Panthers did in the Super Bowl v Denver . All big mouths until the end of the match
I'm quietly confident that our middles can handle their middles. Our main problem will be obviously Lewis, but he has flaws in his game, which can be exploited, ie. defensively and easily wound up.

Team for the Derby.
1. Rapana 2. Briscoe 3. Hardaker 4. Chamberlain. 5. Martin 6 Pryce 7. Sezer 8 Ese Ese 9. Bourouh, / Cust/ Balmforth. 10. Knight 11. Lane 12 Fash 13. Asiata
14. Cust / Balmforth/ Moy 15. Eseh 16. Ashworth 17 Salabio/ Aydin
Cust it out, it was a grade A, that's why we could use the 18th man. Hopefully we avoid bans tonight, but think both Bourouh and Knight could be in trouble, particularly Bourouh who could be could be get charged for two separate incidents, plus has points already I think. Pryce has to be involved in the 17, at least on the bench if he is here in time and had a couple of training sessions. I watched Rovers yesterday, didn't think there were great in the first half and Hudds caused them problems when they moved the ball and offloaded, it was only the fact that Hudds had no end product and Lewis did 3 moments of brilliance. He is the key, we have to try and stop him, that is much easier said that done though, unbelievable player has really developed his game under Peters. If Pryce, Knight and Bourouh are available, gives us a chance, with them (Bourouh especially it will be really hard) Cartwright indicated he's seeking clarification, on Cust's availablity. " Cade got a head knock. We'll just have to get clarification on that. He didn't go back on. I'm not sure if that was our call or not. We'll have to check on that."

Unlucky for Senior , They didn't appear to be anything in it or appear malicious .
Malicious or not, cust went off with concussion and will miss our biggest game of the season so far. It's the tackling player who has a duty of care to the player with the ball and senior should have done better. The game faces a massive legal challenge on CTE and concussion management that could put the future of the sport in jeopardy and has to protect players better than it has in the past. As for burough and Knicght, there was nothing in any of those challenges to warrant any major sanction and the Burough "hip drop" was proven not to be one at all

| Some decisions to be made, do we bring Aydin straight back in or play eseh? Pryce or one of the young half's? (We all know the answer to that)

| Looks like Holmes is back in training too although I guess Saturday might be too soon for a return to the first team.

Is he in any of the training stuff? He posted a photo saying "9 month hiatus over, good to be back!"

| If Pryce is to start on bench, I’d be looking to put Chamberlain at 6 I think, obviously not going to get any attacking output from him but hopefully he can help shore that right hand side up until Pryce can come on.
Rapana Briscoe Hardaker Litten Martin Chamberlain Sezer
Ese’ese Bourouh Aydin Fash Lane Asiata
Pryce Ashworth Knight Eseh

| Pryce plays for me with instructions of 'do whatever the you want' to a degree, without necessarily overplaying with his passing game. He's obviously not going to be familiar with all our plays so I'd just say to him go out there and just play eyes up rugby the full game. Run the ball as much as possible at Lewis and get him moving in defence, he's quite flat footed in defence and very susceptible to been beaten by a good step. Make him move and send a lot of traffic his way. We're already mightily up against it, Rovers look red hot at the moment and we're missing a lot of bodies. Give them something extra to think out. As long as Pryce physically and mentally feels good enough to get on the pitch then we have to take the chance. Even if it means dropping him next week against Warrington and giving him a couple more weeks to get to grips with things, because at least Cust will be back for that one.
