Not saying we deserved it but I was surprised nothing more was made of that potential obstruction for Lee's try. Briscoe struggled and it would have been better to play Shaul. Tickle also was pathetic in defence for Cook's try.

We were saying the same thing regards the obstruction. Looked pretty clear to me, but then Hicks is in no way shape or form an SL standard official. In fact he's arguably not Championship standard.

Briscoe's tackle attempt on Dixon was poor. From the commentary I thought he never reached him, but to actually lay hands on the guy and not bring him down is worse IMO.

Tickle held his hand up regards that tackle in his after-match interview. And rightly so.

Oh and Hicks is a poor touch judge at best as you say.

Sounded devastated. Laid the blame squarely on himself and his fellow players - no excuses whatsoever. Good guy is Danny. Clearly still 100% committed regardless of where he'll be playing next season.
