At the end of the day you will be using our supporters to line your pockets for a big pay day.Like i said Rovers would not hire the KC to play a home game against Salford.

Because Rovers, the club and its fans, are still part of the community. And why not? If I reject the offer of a cup of tea, does that mean I can never ask for one again.
It is for hire by members of the community, isn't it? If I had more cash than sense, I could hire it to play headers and volleys or Wembley doubles with my friends, I assume.
Rovers fans have been 'lining FC pockets' at the same stadium since 2007. After years of slagging for losing money, attempts to make it are now frowned on as dirty?

It still is, but still, their capacity is still 16k+

Rovers promised a 14,000 capacity ground by the 2010 season

| Quote: Raised Elbow "I was just stating the way if feels.I agree, your not a Grimsby and we are not a Man U, but we are local rivals in the same competition, so for that reason i am dead against it.Why should Rovers make money at our ground at our expence?.I am yet to meet a Rovers fan who is against the idea, which tells me because of our fan base all you are seeing is a opportunity to make a quick buck. You would'nt want to hire the KC to play Salford would you?.'"
That whole statement would be perfectly rational if it was not complete bollox, Firstly its not your ground, there have been numerous threads on here stating how it is a community ground owned by the Hull tax payers and shouldn;t be privately owned (by Allam or anyone else).
I'm not for the idea, I would personally rather play at CP as its a home game and I think its handing over an advantage that shouldn't be entertained.
The flip side to the arguement is that if its not moved a lot of people (mainly FC fans) will not be able to see the game as I assume tickets will be very limitted for away fans due to the reduced capacity. So I can see how it benefits the game as a whole to move it as more RL fans would get to see it.
The use of using it for the Salford game is just silly, Salford will bring a minibus full, there is no need to move the game as CP's capacity will be enough.

Glad you mentioned that I'm sure someone may have forgot since the last 15 times you mentioned it.
We have some plank posters but you make cab crab sound entertaining.

Dont you think your stakeholders should be consulted?
Passholders, sponsors, players, coaches, armchair fans.
Maybe Hudge will do a James Rule survey

| Don't understand why some of our (FC) supporters are against this.
It is a community stadium for the people of Hull and this offers the chance for more people from Hull to sit in comfort and enjoy the game.
The SMC will have to charge Rovers a rental fee to hire the stadium. They are not going to steward it for nothing. Admission charges would have to be no more than it usually costs to watch rugby at the KC.
Think the only people against it would be pub owners as they will have less people wanting to watch the game on Sky on their premises.

So you want to sit in the east stand at KC cos you have a pass in the east stand at CP?
What if the east at KC was an end, would you want that?
I have a passport but i dont want to watch my rugby in Rotterdam and be charged 100% more than other teams

| I wonder what views Grudgell would have if the shoe was on the other foot? Would he welcome Hull FC to Caravan Park if the KC needed major reconstruction?
I think not.

Again where is it written that FC or the SMC can start dictating what actual days someone can hire our communtity stadium?
Is that in the small print as well?
