Cool.

Anyway……

Maybe we should all agree to only quietly sing Old Faithful and not throw sweets into the pitch at full time.

Extreme I know, but desperate times etc.

Noticed there was a flash sale posted all over social last week....New spring training gear must be launching soon, just boycott buying any of it.'"

No point because you are still attending the game
If fans want to genuinely protest then they should not attend. The club already have passholders money so from that point of view they are not damaging the clubs finances too much.
This would also create a media story showing on TV the empty stadium.
If that doesnt resonate with Pearson then nothing will

Pearson has 8000 fans season pass money bought on false promises, likelyhood is fans will still go, but even if just walking out to the concourse for 10-15 minutes as a start to show our displeasure how the club is being run...any banners will be taken down/off fans much quickly.

The club will still announce 10k anyway (8k pass holders plus SMC bought tickets plus a handful of a away fans) it's all an illusion.

IMG need to be doing an audit on how many fans are actually in the grounds, several clubs playing games with the numbers

Protesting is supposed to hurt the clubs hierarchy not the clubs long term future like the ideas others suggested. If you want to compromise the clubs future then you're an idiot.

Lol.

You think you’d be compromising the clubs future by not attending games?
As has been said, the club already has our money. A few rounds of 4-5k attendances would send out a strong message to Pearson that we will not continue to be treated like idiots.

The reality is that TS has been brought in to reorganise the playing side of the club also, as Tarquin has said numerous times, change the culture. Even Gaz Ellis said he couldn’t motivate some players. AP has nailed his colours to the mast, he’s using this season to clear debts and hopefully negotiate a better deal with SMC. I’m as sick of jam tomorrow as anyone else but I’ve been around for 60+ years. Protests won’t work because of the above. TS will move upstairs to Director of Rugby and Grix is the next coach. It’s clearly a case of put up or shut up. What we have is what we have. Staying away won’t make ha’peth of difference, he’s got your dosh and gates of 10,000. The season’s fooked, just wish TS would see sense and get Balmforth in for Houghton who should clearly call it a day, he’s not a captain, he hardly ever shouts the odds to the team. Carlos is another sick note. TS says he can’t play 5 young lads at the same time, WTF we’re getting hammered week in week out, give the kids a chance and get shot of sick notes and non tryers. Oh, hang on, we’d be playing a mixture of reserves and academy. Get on with it Smith d040.gif

I am in favour of protest
Email the club - jam their inbox
Jam Adam’s inbox but don’t pull the cash out as we really need Cash !! Badly
Be fans - support the club - go to games - buy Merch - the Club needs Cash badly

BUT boy oh boy we can Protest and make our feelings heard loudly but in clever funny ways

To be honest I’ve already emailed the club, AP and Clark, I did on the Monday morning following the Leigh horror show. I didn’t send an unpleasant email I was simply asking for answers for us as fans which wasn’t too much to ask bearing in mind the backing we have continued to give with nothing changing for years now. Guess what, I’m still awaiting any sort of response, not even the slightest in way of any acknowledgment.

I think the best form of protest would be for all season pass holders to all stay away for one game. That wouldn’t hurt the club financially as we’ve already paid but I would think AP seeing an empty stadium would give him a big reality check as to how serious things are in regards depth of feeling in the fan base.

Well played Sir

For me Adam needs to put the Club up for sale as Adam is the root of the current playing problems.

In one sense, I’m almost annoyed we rallied that second half, it took us been 132-10 over the course of 5 halves of rugby to seemingly get a rocket up our , pathetic. If it continued in the second half it would’ve got toxic in that away end I reckon, there were several Pearson out chants during the game.

Personally, boycotting the game is such a tough one for me. I appreciate the impact it’ll have, however (as sad as it is) even for as bad as we are it is my highlight of the week, Monday comes and I’m already looking ahead to the next match. I just don’t think i could take watching it on sky knowing I could be there. Maybe I should get a life icon_lol.gif
