The novelty might have worn off on the likes of Leeds/Warrington etc but both our recent cup semis were more like home games

Hull v Wakefied 7500 (ish), even at an average ticket price of £15 = £112500.

Personally I'd say there were closer to 10k hull fans for the 2005 semi. |

More to it then takings on the day though isnt there?
The bigger crowd may have added to the motivation of the Giants team who played very well yesterday and how many 'new' fans who only went because it was so cheap will see that performance and come back for more? A few I reckon.
If it puts another 1k on their next few home gates that must be a positive. |

doubt many would've been new fans, probably fans who bought hudds season passes when they were £60 and didnt bother re-newing when they went back up! |
