Freak of a player. If he could perform like that every week he would be up there with the best in the world IMO. Will be missed but here's to hoping we've had the best years out of him.

No where near past his best. He'll light up at Saints next year and probably be in their top 5 best players - such is his quality. Massive miss for us.

I agree with this, very few players have the ability of Menzies to keep going like he has but I honestly believe Manu is the same mould, he is like a fine wine who appears to keep getting better.

Manu is a freak, awesome player who we will miss badly. Loved having him at our great club and gutted he's leaving.

I don't care what people say about Hock and Westwood. Willie Manu is currently the best back rower in SL, that is until Ellis arrives over here next season icon_smile.gif

Honestly though, Manu can do things no other player in the league can. Since we've been at the KC he's certainly been one of the best players for Hull FC along with Swain.

I was told about a month ago he had apparently invested heavily with his brother into a cattle station in Oz as their retirement plan ?? I dont know if he even has a brother but if that is the case he wont be at Saints past his contract end!!

He has been great for us. One of the few truly exciting players we have had in recent years. Its a shame we can't keep him and although we will miss him no one is irreplaceable.
