I think that it's great that Moa has decided to see out all of his contract, rather than quitting midway through and leaving his team in the lurch ala Tronc, Eastwood, etc.
I'd love for him to stay but I can completely understand if he wants to move back to be around his family.
If we could keep him for 1 or 2 more years on the same wages, not an increase, then I'd like O'Meley to stay. I think the influence of props like him and Lynch will be great for the development of our young props like Bowden and Green.

| Moa is a must to try and keep hold of, best impact prop in the league.

Agreed. Ogre has been back to his best this season.

| I would not keep Moa, alot better props available and he takes up a valualble quota place and he is on on a decent salary. I would keep O'Meley and put Ticklle to prop for a 20-30 minute stint and have Bawden as cover.
We could use the extra cash to get a a quality winger and Centre to replace Sharp / Turner / Martin and use Crooks as back up.
I an confident Gentle will do this

The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.

| Why would we want to lose Sharp?
Not a fan of Tickle moving to prop either.

| Potentially good news. Out of him and Ogre its a tough choice. Ogre is a better player but does not have long left in the game and would be more expensive.
I can see us needing to free Ogres money up.

Well I'm glad you're not in charge of recruitment is my response to that.
Assuming one of Moa and O'Meley stays I would be happy to push Tickle into the front row and have Bowden as 5th prop. If they both go then we will need a replacement. Otherwise I'd say a top class centre is our only major target along with some promising younger players (like when we got Jamie Ellis).
I'm really pleased with the squad as it is and I think we are good enough for top 4 this season. Next season we dont need to overhaul everything to continue progressing imo.

Indeed - the kid is unrecognisable from the player we were watching, head in hands many a time, last year.

That is exactly what is happening. O`meley is going to free up cap space . He is one of our top earners.

| Who's to say we won't renegotiate O'Meleys contract?
Now we have a owner with a few more ideas we may even give one of our ooc players a 60k bonus this year and a lesser contract next.

It's an option as I believe his contract was backloaded.

Makes you wonder if we've backloaded Ellis deal, giving us more options for next season.

Like already stated, I'm another who is glad that you are not in charge. I'd like to know who you think are these better props available? Moa has been great for us these last two years and we need to keep him without spending a crazy amount of wages on him.
And there is no reason to get rid of Sharp if he continues to play how he is now. Reece Lyne isn't going to make it at Hull FC imo yes he's young but he's so raw in terms of skill. He's just one of them players you hope to get the ball to and let him use of speed to do damage. Lineham will make the break through within a couple of years and already looks to have more to his game than Lyne. Big, strong, powerfull and probably more of a rugby brain too.
As long as you keep away from the recruitment at Hull FC we'll do more good than not.

| Would love to keep Ogre and Moa butright now on current form, if it was a straight choice I'd keep Ogre. Moa badly needs to improve his discipline, could have cost us the London game and gave crucial pens away at Saints too. Has to sort this out. How many pens has he given away this season for hands on the ball, if we're being brutally honest, its not good enough.

Tickle gives a few penalties away as well maybe we can bin him while we're at it.
