| Quote: Big Dave T "I prefer Obst at 9. Think he has more to offer there. I'd be happy with a young inexperienced half back pairing. It can't be any worse than our old injury prone half back pairing.
I dont see the point about Fitz skill. He's always been a goal kicking work horse. He's an out and out prop/2nd now for me.'" Just dont think it would do Williams any good at all getting thrown in at the deep end against 1 of the best teams in the league alongside another inexperienced player, especially because Agar has shown he isnt above leaving a player hanging out to dry to try and divert some attention from himself.
Fitz has proven he is more than that throughout his career, the seasons with the Roosters once Fittler retired in particular.

| Quote: PAUL M "His ball playing skills are limited tbh, all he can do is throw a bog standard pass. He should be playing prop.'" I'm not trying to make out like he is Benji Marshall or anything but he is the guy that can step up and be more vocal when we have the ball and organise things, instead of a straight hitup guy.

Ball playing prop would be ideal for me, take the ball close to the line and then pass.

Surely thats the job for Moa and Radders. (as they are both in the top 25 for offloads, think Sam is 2nd)

He could easily play the role Graham does for Saints for us except for the fact we have zero push up for the ball carrier to pull off a tip off play. For most of last season it seemed as though Graham was Saints main ball handler.

| Too early for Williams, I like the way Obst was talking and organising when he got on the pitch, I don't remember that since the days of Mackey and Coleman.
Turner to centre, and either Horne if ready or Westerman. I thought Joe looked better second half and threw a lovely long ball to Yeamo from the scrum to create Briscoe's overlap.
Agree with everyone Fitz to prop and not to play 80 minutes, I don't see the point, especially if Horne is fit and Westerman can play at 13. This can make O Meley and Moa's spells more effective. I don't like playing Lauaki down the middle, better when he is in second row, can spell Manu and Westerman and make them all more effective.
Won't happen with this clown in charge though.

That's exactly what I mean, get the other prop or the stand off or full back running with him. He could eat that role up.

That's for offloads, I am talking about a ball playing prop close to the line, a bit like Kingy used to do.

| Quote: Big Dave T "What's Turner done wrong at 6? One of our main positives imo for the 2 games played.'"
Disagree, he's decent at attacking the line but doesn't have the creativity IMO. Someone made a great point last week that he always makes his mind up too early and doesn't play what's in front of him. He also has a habit of drifting outwide with the ball until Manu, Yeaman and Briscoe find themselves in eachothers pockets with no space to work in.
I'd have him at loose forward where he doesn't have as much creative responsibility and can drift around looking to attack the line.
Whiting had a great game against Leeds but I still maintain that he doesn't offer an attacking threat from full back. Get him back to centre and this will sure up our defence no end. Sharp to fullback who is secure under kicks, returns the ball well and has the speed to support breaks.

I agree when Hornes fit he'll go straight in but i'd prefer we gave him a few games in the reserves. To help his injury and confidence.

But please not a drop off to Obst for a drive which we did a few times as our 4th tackle option on there line
