I agree, anything like that and the club should sack them instantly, however, I don't believe the club should sack anyone who's in trouble regardless of their offence. Marlon King's a good example, jailed for sexual assault and I think it was Wigan at the time who he was playing for sacked him yet on release Coventry signed him up - that I agree with, Wigan took the right course of action and once released Coventry had every right to sign him up. However, a few years back Duncan Ferguson was jailed for three months because of a headbutt on while playing, ridiculous when this type of thing goes on quite often in sport and on the pitch but Everton stuck by him - it wasn't while he was playing for us the charge related to an incident in Scotland but the club stood by him, honoured his contract and upon release he continued to play for us so I think it really depends on the offence, each one should be taken on its merits.

Don't think he did, generally in sport good players don't get sacked as a rule, I think it's because clubs fear that if they sack a player they will just join someone else, sadly in this case it probabally will weaken us and strengthen someone else.
