| Quote Danny Oglesby="Danny Oglesby"there is nothing daft about morgan in strong talks with finch neither is the likes of hull needing some one of finches class making us a better team pal.
but totally agree hull being they way they have in the past will pay for an over aged injury prone used to be star forward'"
we need a creative 7 who organises - that's not Finch. Having said that. He is better (considerably) then any options we have at 6

| At this stage of the season I don't think we will be looking for a replacement. Personally I think that the creative players (berro, washy and horney) need to be given more freedom and our style of play needs to be changed. This season we have just focussed on getting to the kick with one man rugby and its too boring to watch! I know a lot of players want Agar out and I agree why they want him out. To be honest I can't believe we are 4th in the league with the rugby we have played. I have only seen a couple of entertaining games this season!

| Quote Danny Oglesby="Danny Oglesby"I think hes more than average TBH rovers would be a different side with dobson out, rovers were poor when dobson had a few bad games and took a mullering, when hes on form rovers always do well, i would take him any day'"
dobson never really had that poor a patch he was just behind a struggling beaten pack, never got time or field position and hence looked lacking in ideas. Once I pack hit some form our backs, most of them very inexperienced look very good.
Your pack on Saturday never laid a platform and never dominated, looked uninterested and it gave your backs no chance. There seemed to be a safety first attitude that stifled any creativity you have, I'd go as far as to say if your team was allowed to play carefree attacking rugby they'd be very good and entertaining, maybe lose a few but you'd certainly win a few. The best I've seen fc play is when they're behind and seem to say sod it and throw it about. For me it's the game plan that's the issue.

I totally agree! I do think we do need to play some carefree attacking rugby. At all ages at Hull from 1st team to u16's its all too structured and players don't get the freedom they want. We all know that we have creative players at the side its just getting it out of them and I think the way forward would be a change in the style of play.

| The style of play is not going to change for the next 2 years at least. Agar seems to play safety first rugby regardless of the score or occasion. The players look like they are restricted to me and off the cuff stuff is something that rarely happens.

| Quote hullbg="hullbg"To be fair though Jake i haven't heard any rumours about player unrest at Hull. I find it strange as well because it is obvious something is really wrong somewhere.'"
Why would there be any unrest. From what I've seen they do what they want and nothing ever happens (apart from tansey obviously )

| I don't understand why, as a club, we seem to pay big bucks for forwards and develop our own youngsters for the backs? We seem to be doing pretty well in developing forwards over the last few years, and have got some more coming through, but they just can't get in the team. Yet, our backs don't seem to have much flair, and our half-backs seem to have poor (or repetitive) decision-making skills (a sort of country-wide problem in development anyway!).
We need three half-backs. Two on the pitch, and one on the bench as utility. The third one can be a young product, but he needs to have the potential to be a good half-back as well as decent at filling in in other positions (sounds like Whiting, but will never be played at HB for some reason). We need two wingers with pace. We need two strong running centres. And we need a FB with less brain explosions.
TBH, we aren't too far off that as it is. Tansey still has time to develop his game at FB, just needs to work on his defensive decisions. Turner's looking good at centre, but think we need an international class centre to help him develop into a better player. We also need a class winger with pace to burn and less injuries to replace Calderwood. We should have some room next year with the loss off both Raynor and probably Calderwood to get two decent three-quarters.
