The fact he cannot play as many minutes as the other props at present goes against him and rightly so.'"
He can do the minutes, but Agar descides to only play him for 15 minute stints.
As mentioned on here already, what the foooook does Dowes need to do to get dropped? He is w@nk pure and simple!

| Just shows that Agar as a head coach is very lacking as he has wasted a quota spot by having Moa sat in the stands for 75% of the games so far. I'm sorry but having Radford, Dowes and Cusack who are all just workhorses with no impact in the role means we have no impact in that department other than O'Meley.
This for me is another sad reflection on Agar as a coach and looks like its going to be another season of dross and poor rugby.

I wish, it now looks like 2 and half seasons.

completely agree with all of the above. we have zero go forward once o meley goes off after his first stint and bringing on dowes and cusack hardly brings impact does it?
for me radford has been the worst prop (even including Moa's short stints) all season bar one game
he breaks the line just as much (or little) as cusack and dowes but cusack always finds a quick PTB and dowes at least finds his front sometimes. with radford the amount of penalties he gives away is unacceptable and he always gets put on his back due to the fact he turns in the tackle just to make a few extra yards but this allows opposing teams an easy slow PTB.
If Agar insists on playing cusack, dowes and radford O Meley should start from the bench so we have some impact in the prop department. If it were me i would have O Meley and Cusack starting with Dowes and Moa on the bench.

Life's nothing if not predictable at Hull FC these days.

That's life isn't it. Sadly for Agar he is pleasing fewer and fewer people most of the time.

I suppose those who have no faith will have to grin and bear it or not go anymore. Those of us who are prepared to wait a bit longer might be proved right that it is too early to judge.
Either way, it will only get better..... or worse... or stay the same...

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]

| It could be argued that our impact comes from in the second row with Hame, Manu and Tickle? I think when Radford, Dowes, Yak and O'Meley play our team has a better balance hence wins against Saints away, Hudds at home and Bradford at home.

| I think in a game like tomorrows you want your old heads so I am happy to see the so called "safe" props being played. Moa will play on Monday to combat the size of Warrington.

And what happened to that "balance" against Celtic and Wigan ??
We have three props that offer hard work but no impact or go-forward and our fantastic coach insists on playing all of them ?? We have some players that have to bust a gut just to get their chance to play and are then dropped for even the slightest of misdemeanours and others that can continue to make the same mistakes game after game and are still in the 13 every week.
Agar is a grade C coach at a club that should be a grade A !!
Shocking Shocking decision !!!

I'd agree it could be argued our impact came from the 2nd rower if we could move the ball quick enough to isolate the likes of Manu and Lauaki in 1 on 1's but were so slow we give them the ball in standing positions up against 4 men. Manu in Leeds, Saints, Wire etc would be absolutley un-playable. For us he's just a player who doesn't take a backwards step. Other than O'Meley we have no rough, impact props. Cusack and Dowes are too similar and shouldnt be in the same team. Radford moving to prop has only given us another non impact prop. At least big Sam takes putting down. For some reason though Agar feels he can only do 2 10 minute stints. If thats the case why sign him?????
Our team didnt have a better balance against Saints, Bradford or d. It simply ed it down and reduced it to a mud fest. Of which we came through as our speciality isn't passing. Yet in dry conditions against the whipping boys in Salford, our 'challenge for honours team' took a battering
If I was Agar - instead of Moore as assistant I'd have an Indian Rain dance warrior!!!

Moa could manage both game as he only plays about 20 minutes anyway.'"
And thats the problem, why waste an interchange on 2 10 minute spells that include 4 drives maximum. Oh but he kissed the badge a few times last season so lets have a Moa lovefest.

Thats Agar's fault not Moa is is capable of doing more game time like he showed last season, but Agar doesnt like to give him it.
His go forward stats last season as fantasic (must eb one of teh best in the league) something we could do with this season when O Meley goes off, he can also offload which is unheard of for a Hull prop.
In fact his all round stats including defence for last season (in a very poor performing team) are very good.
