| Our attendances are superb given what has been on offer for the last few years. I think the club need congratulating on their proactive approach this year.
I think they are looking to build up links with amateur clubs by offering deals on tickets.
Our attendances & stadium must be a big pull when it comes to attracting new players.

| Think we'll struggle to get 15k average. We'd need 195,000 fans through the turnstiles all season for that. We've currently got 56,303 from four. Add 23k for a sell-out against Rovers (which isn't a guarantee) and that's 79,303 from five.
138,697 from eight games means an average of over 14,462 for the remaining 8 games (no Rovers). Yesterday was the first game of the season we achieved over that mark, which shows it isn't going to be that easy to achieve.
Basically for every game we drop under that, we need to make up for it in another.
We've got fixtures with few away fans in Salford, Catalans and Crusaders.
Semi-decent followings in Warrington and Wakefield.
And big games in Saints, Wigan and Leeds.
If we can manage 14.5k to Warrington and Wakefield games, we then need to make up for the small crowds at the Salford, Catalans and Cru games in the Saints, Wigan and Leeds games. Those could dip to 12-12.5k, so we need to look towards 16.5-17k for some. I really can't see that happening unfortunately.

| Quote Gill J="Gill J"Away fans have been put off in the past by the atmosphere at the KC and particularly 'Chav Corner' who let you down badly to be honest. If what I saw last night was anything to go by that might be sorted and being dealt with effectively so you might see a rise in away attendances once word gets round.'"
grow up theres a bunch of kids in chav corner singing ect and giving the away fans some stick but nothing major if thats what puts people of then i think some of these fans should go and watch netball. come on this is rugby not football there just harmeless kids having some banter.

| I'm all for these ticket give aways in principle but why on earth did they have to put these extra people in the south stand, its was manic in that part of the stadium last night with people trying to find places to sit. Surely it would of been a better idea to open up the upper tier on the west stand and use this area for the extra bods. The south stand usually gets quite full without the extra tickets being given away.

There were few if any give aways, the tickets were sold (About 800) of them to amateur clubs and young players as a follow up to the free tickets at the Quins game! It all about audience building, and I think if you like buying tickets on the day for the South Stand you would be better off in future getting them in advance as the trend in their is upwards anyway!

Friday night matches have a lot to do with it as well.....as well as fans not being d to travel on a friday night....Chav corner doesnt have that much of effect on crowds V Quins and the frogs.

That's fair enough, but the club screwed up on this one for me.
The club announced earlier in the week the the south stand had sold out, yet when I turned up to the ground last night they still had a cash turnstyle open
I had family members who don't have passes due to work commitments not attend last night as they didn't want to sit alone in another part of the stadium. I also took a friends son in with us as he has a pass for the south stand, whilst his dad got a ticket for the east after reading the south was sold out. Both my family member and friend could have paid to get in the south stand had the club not announced that it was sold out. Many people near us had the same gripe.
I'm all for the club having a bit of forward thinking, but for fook sake get it right.
