I can't say i,ve tried that many different takeaways but i get jolsha a lot and is always very good.
only problem i have is with the twin brothers who work/own? it, i've had a conversation with one of em then he's gone in the kitchen and when he came back out i tried to carry on the same conversation only to bet met by a strange look! didn't realise it was the other brother 
the indian hawke, also Hessle. ( formerly the admiral pub) is a decent restaurant value and taste wise but service is very hit and miss. |

Alishaans in Cottingham is still very good and I'm another fan of Raj Pavillion.
I've been to Mirchi in Beverley a couple of times and really enjoyed it.

| We love Raj Pavillion and have been a few times for special occasions, not cheap but well worth it.
For a cheap and very good value night out on a Monday or Thursday you can't beat The Last Viceroy on Beverley Road near the Queens Road junction. 5 courses for £6.95 and the food's excellent Gets very busy so I would advise booking. |
