English speaking competency certificate - what about all the footballers that come in with there own interpreter
I would assume the interpreter must take the test - or is this rule only applicable to minority sports

Has taken far to long, its a total joke i know it isnt mostly FC's fault but id be kicking off everyday to make sure this dosn't happen again its not just spoiling it for us its making the whole of the rugby league look a joke.
Football cricket etc etc don't have this problem as far as im aware for this same situation.

This is the worrying bit, it may be another 3-4 weeks before he gets here, Canberra really do have a lot to answer for. Geovani and Zayete can barely speak English and they and others are well entrenched here.
However, a language test has been taken and he has received his Certificate of English Speaking Competency and the VISA application is back underway.

No, the footballer needs to pass a test, unless from an English speaking country. I would hope that a few refusals on this basis will be forthcoming |

I heard recently that a cricketer had visa problems, not its not just RL. |
