If you knew what JM was earning you would know he would not ever bet offered that money by any club in the UK, they cant afford it.
Leeds could get somewhere near the money he is on now and also offer an ambition he has had for sometime, no toehr club can do both of those things, hence the reason he will stay until he gets an Aussie job.

| It speaks volumes that our only tries came when they were down to 12 men. Some good performances, but not enough.

In no way am I using injurys as excuses for the second half performance tonight, but to lose Washbrook through injury was a devastating blow. It meant we had three Hookers on the field at once, you're surely not blaming the board for that are you?

| 2 weeks to plan for this fixture, and they serve up that for a 2nd half! they looked tired and disorganised, god only knows how bad it would have been if we'd had a game last weekend!

The second half we could barely get the ball!! Their kicking game was in a different class to ours. Unfortunately it is not easy to start throwing the ball about on your own line in pouring rain having just defended 12 sets on your own line! Has it occurred to you that there was an opposition in this game? An opposition who had better players on the field than us and who after a poor start, got themselves together and the quality told.

I've actually gone beyond that point and I'm now beginning to resent everyone/everything associated with the club.

| Quote handbrake="handbrake""Pathetic" is best applied to the attitude of some of our supporters.
Personally, I thought a very weakened team did as well overall as could be expected, and you certainly couldn't fault the effort.
Warrington got their act together in the second half and Brier's kicking game was outstanding. As we know, we lack someone to play that (vital)role but that doesn't make the other players pathetic.'"
Totally agree. When I saw the team sheet I thought we were in for a right thrashing. Houghton, Lee and Hodgson FFS. Missing 10 players and picking up more injuries during the game yet got within 2 points. Having said that the second half was poor from us. Forwards just couldn't make any metres and the kicking game was dire. If we'd had Tony, Raynor,Berrigan, Lauaki and Manu in for Thorman, Broughton, Hodgson, Lee and Burnett, we might just have narrowed the massive 2 point gulf between the 2 sides.

and why did you think we ended up defending 12 consecutive sets?? because our kicking game was atrocious thats why
take the blinkers off, we are woeful
Warrington have been outclassed by loads of teams this season also, they are not a 'complete' side yet, but I have no doubt Tony Smith will get them there

| Oh come off it with all this injury crap.
You've got a few but a couple of those blokes havent played in donkeys.
We didn't have as many injuries as yourself but if you look at our backline today compared to our strongest it was nothing but a shoddy throwtogether, i mean, Bridge on the Wing?? Anderson at centre?? Hicks didn't play which meant we lost our regular kicker and a bloke who's scored 10 tries in his last 4 games.
I'd love to know where your bloke who was telling me on the virtual terrace the other week about how Briers is utter crap has gone, because your halfbacks made Briers look like Lockyer today
Overall a very poor standard from both teams.
