I would too. Suspect they see Griffin as his replacement though and if we sign a 6, Carlos reverts to centre with Fonua and Logan in the mix also?

| The only player to win two Challenge Cup's with Hull.
3rd in our all time try scorers (175 according the website).
355 games played (according to Wiki).
A couple of SL Dream Teams.
Great Britain & England International.
Hull born, one of our own, one-club man.
We should be proud of such a player.

Griffin will definitely be first choice centre and would have Tuimavave as the other with Fonua back on the wing, although I've said since he played a game for us that a Fonua is better at centre.
Although Tuimavave will stay at six, so I expect Griffin and Fonua as centres and Naughton on the wing.

| yeaman has been a great and loyal servant to the club. I'm sure he could have gone elsewhere, earned more and won more trophies but he didn't and that's to his credit. His on field performances have been top notch this season and I'm pleased he's had the chance and done himself and the club proud. I certainly thought his time at this level was over so well done yeamo for proving me wrong. He's also been a model professional throughout his time with the club. His scoring record and number of appearances mean he is definitely a club legend and if he does retire this season, the CC win and anything else we do will be a great way for him to bow out on a high

| With Griffin and Lancaster / naughton will give us a bit more pace which we need imo yeaman has been a club legend. And proved me and most wrong with his displays this year.

| Yeamo won't want to finish but won't want to play for any other team either he would like another year I'm sure but the cap will probably preclude that however he is a legend if for nothing else than for the way he has reinvented himself this seAson and nothing's certain until an announcements made I guess

| Difficult to call with the backs next year
2
4
5
6
Nailed on
Probable
6 could be anyone from Connor, Adbull (if re-signed) or Tuimavave
The vacant wing spot: Naughton, Lancaster, Rawsthorne?
Logan & Bower backing up Fonua & Griffin
Plenty of options there.

| If lose Pryce, Michaels, Feka, Yeaman, HTW and Dean and sign Connor, Griffin and two young kids I'd expect us to have some cap space for another signing either before or during the season.

Fonua would be wasted now on the wing.He sees a lot more ball as a centre.
Not so sure we will see Carlos at 6 as i think the club will still sign an established 6 if they are able to.
Cant see where Connor will fit in other than a replacement for injury similar situation to Naughton this season

| I agree, Fonua has to stay at centre. But would also like to see Tuimavave back at centre therefore I could see Fonua back on the wing.
Shaul
Talanoa
Griffin
Fonua
Naughton
Or
Shaul
Talanoa
Tuimavave
Griffin
Fonua

| I'd keep Fonua at centre, but I could see a few reasons for him going to the wing
We are stronger at cente than on the wing with only Talanoa and Naughton
Fonua is still suspect in defence in the centre.
He would score loads of try's off high kicks to the corner.

Don't forget we have paid a lot of upgrades for juniors and new contracts for a couple of first teamers and I hope they will be looking to upgrade/extend Sneyd and Houghton's contracts too, that uses up a lot of cap space as well. I doubt we will see any more major arrivals unless a well paid first teamer departs.
