I dont think you you can ex pat shield on the ipad, i think there is a way to get round the ip address but im not tech savvy enough to explain.

It only says for "Works on Windows XP/Vista/7" on their web site |

Will have to get some kind of DNS/IP mask to be able to stream the BBC in NZ, it's not about the stream it's about the BBC's licence fee! |

If you can find a friend in the UK with something like a Sling box, that will also work.
You would have to buy the Slingbox app however, or watch it on a PC.
I also saw on the iPAD there is an app called "FilmOn Live TV Free" that looks like it gives you access to some streamed TV from the UK if you are abroad. Would that work?
