Iirc McRae has form for keeping very tight lipped when it comes to rumours etc.
But when Salfords own coach has said to press that he believes Hull are in for Holdsworth then I can't see why McRae can't of been a bit more open with his reply. Rather than just saying Holdsworth is contracted for next year and that's all he knows.

Therefore he did not sign for us after the game last Sunday, as some would have us believe.
After listening again to McRae he said 4 players we have been linked with have all signed extensions or with other clubs - Paea being one, maybe Holdsworth is another?! |

I'm hearing that Holdsworth is far from a done deal. Led to believe Hull have reached an agreement with Salford and that Holdsworth is interested in coming but personal terms have yet to be agreed. He certainly hasn't signed on the dotted line yet.
