Think the first the first train from Kings Cross is just after 5, the next one is about 7.40pm so you have plenty of time to get there, and your ticket for the underground is valid for any journey back to Kings Cross.

| Be careful with Hull Trains, the cheap tickets are time specific, if you miss or turn up early you get stung. I managed to get to Kings Cross early once and jumped on the earlier train thinking my tic ket to hull would be valid and got stung.

| trainline.co.uk for cheaper train tickets on selected routes/times.
The journey back from Wembley will vary depending on whether you leave at full time or 5 mins before. Minimum you need 20-30 mins for the tube alone.

www.tfl.gov.uk/gettingaround/1106.aspx
all you need to know on there
i would allow a good hour after the game, esp if going from Wembley Park, they stop you down Wembely way to keep you out the station and only let so many through at a time

If you walk to Euston you may as well walk to Kings Cross, it's mile from Wembley Hutchie.
Whatever anyone does, they need to check the planned engineering works on the TFL website.

I guess it depends if you have kids with you etc, the TFL site only has the planned works up until August 11th at the moment.

Eh? Euston is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from Kings Cross. Wembley is over 6 miles away from Euston.
Getting an overline from Euston is a good method. Personally though I would just go Metroplition line to Wembley Park.
Oh little tip. When you arrive at Kings Cross, at the top of the platforms go stright to the right, don't go into the main Kings Cross Hall because its usually really crowded and the tube station is on the right of the station (if you face the direction you arrive).

Yes. It has been a real pain in the backside at times!
TFL staff are brilliant though - they usually do a good job of getting you around it if you ask - the problem is most people seem to have an aversion to asking.

| It read like Hutchie was suggesting walking from Wembley to Euston, hence my observation.
The problem isn't getting to Wembley, it's getting from Wembley to Kings Cross because the station becomes a bottle neck straight after the game.

| Little tip, never use thetrainline, use the train company's own website, either Hull Trains or East Coast, you'll save the booking fee and often gey a better discount.
