There's nothing like a bit of notice!!

Its the first year we've done it and have only had six wks to organise it its only bus drivers playin this year unless we r short od numbers

You've been organising it for six weeks, yet you only chose to think about advertising it two days beforehand?

Its only just took off as a big thing. Any y have a pop at people who r trying to do sumthing worth while?

No ones having a pop, and we all realise its for a good cause so well done. The contructive feedback youre been given is that next time you do something like this try to give more than 2 days notice because people make plans. I would have gone had i had a weeks notice, ive made other plans. Just doesnt help to maximise the benefits of the day. Take it on board and get the message out well in advance next time that all people are saying really.

Get your missus to drive herself to the shops.

Yeah I agree bud (e.g. because weekends can be very hectic for people), sounds like a good event though, maybe just need to plan things further in advance next time (if poss).
