We will be alot better side when we have Shifty as halfback possibly sooner rather than later.

If we were going to sell a player and stump up some decent cash, then i'd want a better calibre of player than Deacon .

Deacon is not the creative half back we need. He has a good boot and that is about it.

The funny thing is, I bet there are some people who would complain at signing Deacon, but say we should never of got rid of Danny Brough

He would only ever be a short-term panic measure. IMO he is not the kind of player we should be looking to sign at halfback for the long term.

And what makes you think Bradford would be willing to part with him even if we were stupid enough to ask?

Platt has made a good start to the season, he is younger and worth backing as he develops.
