| Happy with Borough, young and puts a shift in.
But whats happening with a no7? We can signed a load of good players but we'll still be rudderless without one

Was told this morning that Abdull is done, however with the complexity of the deal id be surprised its been completed that quickly.

| I really don’t get all this regarding signings in that, the number one priority is a coach. As Myler said from the start we need a coach who fits and will dictate our style of play. While it’s great to see new signings and I’m as excited as anyone else, where is the coach who will want these signings and be sure of making his influence count? Maybe we have it done and just can’t release the info yet. The longer this goes on, the more baffling it appears.
Thoughts....

He certainly looked done last saturday. Why is it complex? rovers desperate to get him off their books and cats have seen what he offers and don't want to commit beyond this year.
As for the hooker, let's hope he isn't going to be our main option at 9. With 4 injury prone players in our spine, the last thing we need is a young inexperienced hooker as the 5th

I was hoping we had a coach lined up who was contracted elsewhere and directing recruitment but given who we are rumoured to be signing, I hope we don't as it would be more worrying than not having a coach lined up

It’s never done until it’s done but if the club are briefing the HDM about Abdull they must be confident that he wants the move and that Rovers have indicated they’ll let him join Hull as he’s got 2 years left there.
Catalans supposedly have an option until July so doubt it can be officially done until then but it’s obvious he’s the target for the 7 shirt.

| If Abdull can get and remain fit plus Trueman has an injury free spell we have a good HB pairing. Charles as back up. Not to bad.

| What's the thoughts on Joe Cator signing a new deal?
Hopefully he has got over his injury issues and may well be obtainable on a very affordable salary due his injury record .
He has been slated from some quarters but he is a trier but is that good enough for the Myler "masterplan"?

Fitness being the issue as well as his rather caustic remarks about this earlier time at Hull.

Not for me, not big or good enough. What is it 36+ games with a try or try assist. Need to be getting away from these sort of retentions.

| Won't be a suprise as I'm not a big fan of Cstor, but I'd let him go, tries hard, but just no attacking threat, I'd release him and developed Armstrong and Balmforth if he stays to take his position.

| Hopefully Armstrong gets some game time to see if he can fill Cators place in the squad. I wonder is Fash might not be as much of a certainty in the 17 next season given the possible forwards were linked with?

Providing we sign Satae and another backrower
I think our props should be Ese Ese, Sao, Satae and Ashworth.
Saying that with our suspensions and injuries if fit Fash will play most games.

We've miss him big time in the middle this season.
